Poliols production

Polyols production project for Karpatnaftochim LLC

Capacity of the finished product is up to 3000 tonnes per year.

Polyols are to be produced by polymerisation of organic oxides in the presence of initiators and catalysts.

Feedstock: propylene oxide or a mixture of propylene and ethylene oxides.

Process catalysts: potassium hydroxide.

Initiators: glycerol, propylene glycol or ethylenediamine.

We have developed 4 polyol production families, which will be further used for the production of rigid, flexible polyurethanes and polypropylene glycols.

Advantages: it is proposed to use a film-type reactor in the polyol production process.
