The introduction of the innovative automated control system in the DeNovo Data Processing Center, the partner solution is Schneider-Techinservice.
Experts of DeNovo launched the project of the most innovative data processing center in the country in 2008. Then the requirements for a unique object, its key properties and characteristics were stated.
The key difference of the DeNovo Data Processing Center from other data centers in the country is its compliance with the TIER III reliability level of the TIA-942 standard. The main provisions of this standard are a set of strict requirements for reliability and robustness of all life-support systems of DPC without exception. The difference in the characteristics of data centers corresponding to the TIER I or II reliability levels is insignificant, unlike DPC with the TIER II and TIER III reliability levels, which, in fact, stand in stark difference: the maximum downtime of the data center with the TIER III reliability level is 13-18 times less than that one of the "younger" DPCs.

The project conditions provided for the introduction of the DPC management system. Due to the uniqueness of the DeNovo Data Processing Center, this task was performed in the Ukrainian DPC market for the first time.
Therefore, the contractors for its implementation were determined on the basis of a careful competitive selection – Techinservice and Schneider Electric Ukraine were selected.
Gennadii Kabalskii, Project Manager of Techinservice, says that taking into account the large number of signals (more than 2 ths.,14 thousand tags in the SCADA system), it was impossible to call the task trivial. The system had high requirements for redundancy, so the approach of industrial automated control systems was the most optimal solution. The reliable industrial automated control system as a part of Modicon 340 SCADA Vijeo Citect programmable logic controller by Schneider Electric fitted better to the requirements for reliability, centralization and functionality for processing large amounts of data. Aleksander Groshev, Head of the System Integration Channel, who took on this project from Schneider, said that the great advantage of the proposed system was that it almost perfectly fitted the existing TCP/IP Ethernet architecture in DPC. This made it possible to significantly save the project budget for the automated control system and use all the advantages of the Transparent Ready concept.
This case is an excellent illustration of that fact that new and better value can be created through the partnership of the Supplier and the Integrator. Without Schneider Electric and Techinservice, it would have been difficult to provide the necessary insurances and guarantees as well as to share the difficulties of deferred payments. In its turn, Schneider Electric had to have a partner with an impeccable reputation and qualification, otherwise the risk of losing its image in the new project was also high.
As Aleksandr Groshev noted, DeNovo has highly appreciated the work of partners.
The significant benefits obtained by all participants of the project are obvious.
As a result, all parties achieved their goals and laid a stable foundation for the development.
Partnership relations, demonstrated by all participants from the very beginning, actually contributed to the growth, improvement of efficiency and results of the project.
