Techinservice has completed start-up and commissioning works of 4 filter presses at Merke Sugar Mill, which is a part of Central Asian Sugar Corporation LLP (TSASK LLP), the major player in the sugar market of Kazakhstan.

Filter Presses installed at Merke Sugar Mill

The station of four KF1200 filter presses with the filtering area of 600 m2 is designed to filter the 2nd carbonation syrup on cane raw sugar and the 1st carbonation juice on sugar beet.

The SimpleSug® automatic control system installed by Techinservice Intelligence® enables fine adjustment of filter presses and meeting the essential requirements of the plant, namely:
- low sugar and moisture content in discharged precipitate;
- low filtrate dilution with wash water;
- significant reduction in energy consumption in general.

          Installation of Filter Presses

The delivery of these filter presses was carried out on a "turnkey" basis – from the dismantling of old vacuum filters to the commissioning of press filters and personnel training.
