A replacement of the failed automatic control system has been carried out for the following sections:
• purification unit;
• control filtration unit;
• evaporation plant;
• product processing facility

The reconstruction of the lime kiln has been completed:
• charge preparation and dosing station;
• installation of a charge loading and distributing unit;
• implementation of a comprehensive control system for the plant unit;
• installation of a 250-kW frequency converter on the gas pump;
• the amount of water supplied to the gas pump has been adjusted to vary with the motor speed;
• optimization of the water supply for slake lime

The following results have been achieved:
• lime consumption has been reduced to 2.9% by weight of sugar beets;
• electricity consumption for pumping saturation gas has been decreased by 40% due to the almost complete elimination of excess gas discharge into the atmosphere;
• the plant unit operates in fully automatic mode.

The plant's capacity is 3600 tons of beets per day.
