groznyy informThe production capacities of the sugar mill in Argun make it possible to meet the demands of the domestic market of the Chechen Republic to a significant extent. According to Tiursha Amaliev, Director of SUE Chechenskiy Sugar Mill, the enterprise has no match in the republic in terms of automation and energy saving and is one of the leaders of the industry in the North Caucasus.

"The plant was built in 1961. Due to the hostilities, it did not operate for more than ten years. Three years ago we began to restore it and we were going to launch it. Startup specialists were invited from Kyiv. This year the mill has been put into operation. Today, more than 1,000 tons of raw materials per day are processed at the sugar mill in Argun. After all modifications, its capacity reached 100 tons of sugar per day," the director of the plant said.

As Gennadii Kabalskii, Project Manager of Techinservice, noted, the mill began to produce products consistently since the first days of its launching.

"We have replaced more than 50% of outdated equipment. Almost all facilities have been automated. About 300 people serve the entire production process. And it is pleasant to see that all the systems of the plant operate well," G. Kabalskii said.

According to the management of the plant, the products of Argun Sugar Mill are not inferior in quality to the leading manufacturers in the world.
